Scott E. Hamilton

Scott practices civil litigation and has extensive experience in municipal and insurance defence litigation.

He has conducted numerous trials and motions before the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

He is frequently asked to provide presentations on various municipal law topics at conferences and seminars sponsored by municipal lawyers’ associations, municipal risk and insurance organizations, and professional legal conference organizers. Additionally, Scott has provided edits to the leading text in municipal liability and has written papers addressing recent developments in the municipal law field.

In addition to acting as a lawyer for numerous municipalities and their insurers, Scott also provides legal services to clients in commercial litigation, wrongful dismissal, and Plaintiff’s personal injury. Scott’s legal practice also includes assisting dentists and other professionals with their litigation needs.
