Bio

Sarafina is an Associate in the Firm’s commercial litigation group, where she is developing her practice in commercial and construction litigation.  

After completing her undergraduate degree in Law & Society and Leadership at Wilfrid Laurier University, she attended Sheridan College and received a Certificate in Project Management. Before attending law school, she worked for a couple of years in the entrepreneurship non-profit sector, focused on aiding small businesses to grow. Sarafina completed law school at the University of Windsor in 2023 as the Class of 2023 Valedictorian. While there, she worked with Community Legal Aid as a Case Worker, Pro Bono Students Canada as a Project Coordinator, and the Black Law Students’ Association as the 2022 Julius Alexander Isaac Moot Director. 

Sarafina articled with the Ministry of Attorney General before joining Loopstra Nixon after her call to the Bar in 2024.
