Preben Schmidt

Preben Schmidt joined Loopstra Nixon as senior counsel in 2023 following a 50+ year career, first as an associate and Partner in a major Toronto law firm and then since 1993 as a solo practitioner in Newmarket, Ontario where his practice included helping families with Wills and Estates, Corporate Law matters and Real Estate. 

Preben also acts as an Executor, Trustee and Corporate Director for many families and he carries an estate planning and administration practice within the Firm's Wealth Management Group. 

Preben enjoys time at his cottage, theatre performances by his grandchildren and golf.
