Bio

Michael is an associate with the firm’s Real Estate group, developing his commercial and corporate law practice with a focus on acquiring, disposing, and financing commercial, multi-unit residential, and industrial property, as well as property development and landlord/tenant commercial leasing matters.

Prior to law school, Michael obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from Western University, during which he specialized in international relations and post-conflict reconstruction and spent time studying abroad in Wales and Rwanda. 

While obtaining his degree from Western University’s Faculty of Law, Michael enjoyed working as a volunteer researcher for UN Women and as president of the law school gaming club (“Litigamers”).

After articling with Loopstra Nixon, Michael returned to the firm following his Call to the Bar in 2024.

Outside the office, Michael enjoys travelling abroad, reading novels, listening to history podcasts, grabbing a pint from the local pub, and playing board games with friends and family.
