Malcolm J. MacLeod

Malcolm has been practicing civil litigation with the firm since 1986.

While he engaged in all areas of litigation for corporate, municipal and personal Plaintiffs and Defendants during his early years before becoming a partner in 1991, his practice has become more specialized in municipal defence work, which he has practiced for over 25 years. Malcolm has developed and works with a team of defence lawyers in the firm who remain in high demand due to the team’s success in this area.

Malcolm served on the Firm’s Management Committee for over a decade. He remains an active member of several legal groups, including the Canadian Bar Association and the Toronto Lawyer’s Association. He enjoys providing educational workshops to his municipal clients to assist in improving risk management concerns facing all municipalities.
