Harman Bath

Harman Bath’s practice focuses on Banking and Financial Services, Commercial Real Estate, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Commercial Leasing. With a strong academic background and hands-on involvement in various facets of law, Harman has quickly become a trusted resource for his clients.

Harman leads a diversified lending practice, servicing deals ranging from small-business to corporate finance. Whether its assistance with structuring the security or securitizing the loan, Harman is able to service FI’s and Private Lenders alike. He compliments this practice by offering clients with practical advice supported by aged and recent developments in the law on real-estate, share-purchase, and asset-purchase deals. 

Harman studied law in the downtown-core and graduated with distinction from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law. During his time at law school, he demonstrated a commitment to excellence both in and outside of the classroom, competing in prestigious moots such as the McCarthy Cup (Contract Law) and the Harold G. Fox (Intellectual Property Law). Harman was also deeply involved in mentorship and leadership roles, including serving as a teaching assistant for courses such as Ethics & Professionalism and Foundations of Law. He earned the title of 'Lincoln Scholar' for his outstanding performance in Indigenous and Aboriginal Law.

Before law school, Harman studied business and economics at McMaster University, graduating with honors and earning a spot on the Dean’s List. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to start several small ventures, giving him valuable practical experience that he brings to his legal practice.

A strong advocate for community involvement, Harman co-founded Karepackage, a non-profit addressing homelessness, and has served on the board for multiple organizations. He has also written several books to guide aspiring lawyers, available for free at harmanbath.ca/books.

Outside the office, Harman loves to travel, golf*, binge the latest TV series, and serve as a proud dog-dad.
