Two LN Lawyers Promoted to Partner

Loopstra Nixon is pleased to announce the promotion of senior associates Alison Kuchinsky and Michael Otto as partners effective January 1, 2019. 

Alison is a member of the firm’s commercial litigation group. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation, construction litigation, mortgage enforcement, insurance litigation, real estate litigation and professional negligence litigation. Alison has represented corporations and individuals in a variety of commercial disputes before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Michael is a member of the firm’s corporate/commercial and cross-border groups. Michael advises Canadian and international companies on significant transactions including the purchase and sale of businesses, buy-outs, estate freezes, and reorganizations. Apart from the transactional work, Michael also regularly advises clients on various day-to-day legal matters including commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, regulatory issues, and financings.
