R. Graham Phoenix presents at the OBA’s “Overturning Fraudulent Preferences and Transfers” Conference.

R. Graham Phoenix, head of the firm’s Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Restructuring Practice, joined a team of leading commercial litigators, insolvency lawyers, and licensed insolvency trustees as part of the faculty at the Ontario Bar Association’s “Overturning Fraudulent Preferences and Transfers” Conference on May 4, 2018. 

Graham presented with Deborah Hornbostel, a licensed insolvency trustee with msi Spergel Inc., detailing the past, present and future of challenging fraudulent preferences and transfers under the provincial laws of Ontario and under Canada’s federal insolvency regime.  The Conference was held on May 4, 2014 in Toronto and was attended in-person and online by members of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals and guests from across Ontario, Canada and abroad.
