R. Graham Phoenix presents at the OBA's "What's New and Notable in the World of Insolvency Law"

R. Graham Phoenix, head of the firm’s Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Restructuring Practice, joined a team of leading insolvency law practitioners as part of the faculty at the annual OBA Institute on February 7, 2017. 

This year’s Insolvency Law Section was themed “What’s New and Notable in the World of Insolvency Law”. 

Graham presented his paper, co-authored with Kelly Heymann (student-at-law), “What’s New in Insolvency Law:  Approval & Vesting Orders under Appeal; An Appealable Auction?; The Sisterhood of the Travelling Collateral; Occupying Multiple Hats; and Passing the Joint… Proposal!” and joined a panel to discuss recent case law and current developments in the insolvency and restructuring space in Ontario and beyond.  The OBA Institute-Insolvency Law Section presentation was held on February 7, 2017 in Toronto and was attended in-person and online by members of the Ontario Bar Association across Ontario, Canada and abroad.
