R. Graham Phoenix presents at the LSUC’s “Commercial Priorities for Real Estate and Business Lawyers 2017"

R. Graham Phoenix, head of the firm’s Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Restructuring Practice, joined a team of leading practitioners as part of the faculty at Law Society of Upper Canada’s CPD programme “Commercial Priorities for Real Estate and Business Lawyers 2017", on October 26, 2017. 

Graham presented his paper, “Equitable Subordination:  Canada’s Legal Polkaroo”, considering the questionable existence of the US doctrine of equitable subordination in Canada and how it may yet find a practical home… maybe.  This Law Society of Upper Canada CPD programme was held on October 26, 2017 in Toronto and was attended in-person and online by 300 members of the legal community in Ontario, Canada and abroad.
