Charles Loopstra Named as Brown, Mulligan, Rocha Distinguished Public Service Award Recipient by IMLA

Loopstra Nixon LLP partner Charles M. K. Loopstra has been selected as a recipient of the Brown, Mulligan, Rocha Distinguished Public Service Award by the International Municipal Lawyers Association for his 50+ year career at the top of the public liability bar.

According to IMLA, the award aims to recognize the recipient's "significant and surpassing achievements which brought new and inspiring ideas to IMLA's national and international programs and activities."

Charles has built an exemplary reputation in the legal community as a public law expert and litigator. He also has been an active member of the International Municipal Lawyers Association, as evident in his participation as a presenter in past IMLA conferences and as a scheduled speaker at the 86th Annual IMLA Conference, which will be held from September 29 to October 3, 2021, at Minneapolis, Minnesota. The award will be presented on the third day of the conference.
